Chuck and Connie Adams are two of the founding owners of PPA. You will see them around the facility teaching various classes and playgroups, doing private training, and running the facility. They have each trained for over 15 years through Kirkwood and PPA and both are certified trainers through the Animal Behavioral College. They also have their AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator certificates. They have competed in various canine activities and have titles in flyball, obedience, rally obedience, barn hunt, and agility. Connie is also a licensed Barn Hunt Judge, judging competitions for the Barn Hunt Association. They own 2 border collies, a border-lab mix and a terrier mix. Chuck and Connie are continuously looking for ways to improve their training skills and experiences through various resources and seminars in order to provide the best to their students.
Stephanie Neff is another founding owner of PPA. She has been training for 10 years at Kirkwood and PPA. She has her AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator certificate and has competed in a variety of canine activities including flyball, agility, and rally obedience. She has also done Delta Certification in pet therapy. She shares he home with an All-American dog and 2 Weimaraners. Stephanie continues to grow with seminars so that she can provide the best training for her students.
Dawn Roth is another founding owner of PPA. She trained at Kirkwood for the Continuing Education Canine Program, including puppy and adult obedience classes and playgroups, pet therapy, and rally obedience. She also does a lot of private training sessions in obedience and behavior management. Having trained for over 15 years, she teaches a variety of PPA classes including puppy and adult obedience, CGC/Pet Therapy, and flyball. Dawn competes in various canine activities including flyball and rally obedience. She holds titles in flyball. She also has grooming experience and holds certificates in pet therapy and is an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. Dawn attends seminars to keep her training skills up to date. She has worked with a variety of dogs, including those she shares her home with: 3 rat terriers and a boarder collie.
Training the puppy and adult obedience classes are Dawn, Gary and Darlene.
Chuck is currently working with the playgroups, Home 2/Pet Therapy classes, and agility classes.
Connie, Stephanie, Natalie, and Jaina are working with the agility classes and portions of our training. Connie also does private training for obedience, behavior, and agility.
