PRIVATE TRAINING 

Why Private Training?

Lots of reasons: 
maybe you prefer to work one on one with one of our trainers or behaviorists.
maybe the current class times do not fit into your schedule
maybe your dog is too fearful or has too many issues to learn and function in a class environment

We use private training for fear issues, aggression issues, socialization issues, obedience issues, confidence building, etc.  Our trainers have a variety of personal interests and expertise, and we match up the trainer(s) who will best fit your needs.  More often than not, there are 2 trainers at a private session. We like to work as a team to better assess, evaluate, explain, and implement an appropriate training program for your dog. 

Where do we do training?  Wherever it needs to be done.  Most private sessions are done here at PPA, but if in home training would be more beneficial to you and your dog, then that's where we do it.

Private training is $55 per hour at the academy.  In home training in the surrounding area is $65.00 per hour. $100.00 for 1.5 hours.

Our passion is to help owners and their puppies/dogs be happy together, and to avoid problem behaviors from landing a dog in a shelter or rescue situation.
