PPA Pals and Friends looking for the *perfect home.
Sometimes, no matter how much owners may want to, they cannot keep the dogs they have adopted. Due to a variety of unfortunate circumstances, we know of a few dogs who are looking for that perfect home. The dogs below are courtesy listings to help them on that journey. If you are interested in any of these dogs, please contact us at PPA.

DAPHNE - is a young, sweet little terrier who is learning not to be afraid of people. She does well with dogs, and actually responds to children quicker right now. She was found as a stray, and was sent to us by CVHS to learn to trust people and love life! She is doing great, and while she is not available for adoption yet, we have every confidence she will be in time.
TAZ - 4 year old lab mix. Tax is a very sweet boy. He has been in a loving and caring home with a small child since he was a puppy. Unfortunately they couldn't take care of him anymore. Wanting the best for him, they brought him here so he could find another family to love. He is up to date on shots, neutered, and very comfortable with other dogs. He loves to run and play, as well as snuggle up beside you for love and pets. He is a great family dog.
DIAMOND - 1 year old pit bull who is completely potty trained. She is a lover who has to sleep right next to you at night. She needs plenty of toys as she is a chewer. She does still need some leash training. She loves kids, food, attention, and going for rides in the car. She has her rabies shot. She is not yet spayed.
ADOPTED!!! JASPER - 6-8 month old yellow lab. Since one of our staff found him running before Christmas, Jasper has made himself right at home at PPA. He is great with people and other dogs. Jasper loves to run, jump, and play. He also loves to nestle his head in your hand and get lovins! He is neutered and up to date on shots. He is a high energy puppy who will need some training. He spent a few days at home with one of our staff, showing that he is housetrained.
ADOPTED!!! 3 Border Collie Puppies (we believe pure bred - mother was beautiful border collie - we met her and she was very sweet). 2 males and 2 females about 10 weeks old. Princess Leia Gabriella is the last puppy looking for her special home. She is currently being fostered with one of her brothers Swiper, a large and small breed dog, and a 5 year old child. Chubby (now named Hank) and Chloe have gone to their forever homes. Leia is a very sweet puppy who is still working on building her confidence but is coming along great. She is a little lover with lots of food and tug drive. Picture soon.
ADOPTED!!! Gypsy is about 4yrs old. She is kennel trained and house broken. She LOVES to cuddle and makes a great bed warmer.
She is great with kids, cats and other dogs. She showed up as a stray, spent time with one of our owners, and is now looking for her forever home. Picture soon.
ADOPTED!!! Bo is a lab shepherd mix who has just come in to PPA PALS and is in need of a forever home. She is a very sweet girl who is great with dogs but shy and unsure of people. She will be spending some time working with our trainers to become more confident with people. She has lots of energy on one hand, and is a cuddler on the other. Her owner has moved and sadly could not keep Bo with her. More information to come about Bo, as well as a picture.
ADOPTED!!! Amelia is a 3 year old Basenji mix. She is very sweet and will bond quickly! She was an owner surrender as they did not have the kind of time for her, and felt they couldn't give her what she needed. We are just getting to know her, but have seen no issues thus far. She is a little shy around active dogs, but did live with a shitzu in her previous home. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. We will post more information as we get to know her.
ADOPTED!!! Maya is a little beagle mix puppy about 3 months old. She was found with her mother in a barn. She is getting both human and dog socialization with one of our owners in her home. She didn't have a lot of human contact prior to coming to PPA, but she is currently being fostered in a home with 2 children as well. She also attends puppy playgroups at PPA. She is an adorable, round little puppy who has been started on her shots.
ADOPTED!!! Bailey is Pup Pup's mother, a beagle, who was found with her only surviving puppy in a barn. She was born in June of 2010, or atleast that is what her collar says. She is very social, loves everyone, plays with other dogs, chases the ball AND brings it back, and loves to play tug (with rules!). She participates in puppy playgroup at PPA and is doing great.
*The perfect home for these dogs will include an initial meeting, the checking of references, home visits, and anything else PPA PALS or the owners deem necessary to ensure these dogs are going to respectable, loving homes that are the best fit for these dogs.
